Group Training Team
12-Weeks to a Half Marathon
Sign-Ups Begin: Monday, July 4th
Training Begins Week of July 25th

-Coach &Team support and encouragement
Once you sign up and pay, you’ll get a calendar of classes &
times, as well as, your training. We will offer 2-different
trainings; one for new-comers and another for returning runners.
Workshops begin the week of July 25th.

Tara has worked in the Fitness
Industry for over 16 years. She is certified as a Group Exercise
Instructor from AFAA along with certifications in kickboxing,
mat pilates, resistance training, Turbo-Kick, Hip Hop Dance,
SilverSneakers and most recently, Personal Training. Tara
graduated from Russell Sage in upstate NY with a degree in
Nutrition Science. She is passionate about fitness-from teaching
classes to training members to race and complete their first

CLASS
DESCRIPTIONS
Boot Camp - An
intense workout for the fitness enthusiast; class consists
of plyometrics, push-ups and cardio challenging exercises
Cardio Blast - Instructors’ Choice for a 45 minute
(express) or 60 minute cardio class. Class can be powerstep,
kickboxing or hi/lo.
Fitness Frenzy - A high energy mix of cardio
segments to boost your heart and metabolism while having
fun!
Kids Fitness - Paid for program for kids aged 9-12,
classes include sports conditioning, yoga, team games and
obstacle course; class is 45 minutes in length.
Hi/Lo - a cardiovascular, floor based workout where
you can adjust your workout with low impact or high impact
moves
PowerStep - Choreography driven step workout using
fun, energetic music to create a great cardiovascular
workout
Running Club - a group that runs at various locations
and trains for specific race distances
SilverSneakers® Cardio Circuit- Combine fun with fitness to
increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power
with a standing circuit workout. Upper body strength work
with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a
ball is alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A
chair is offered for support, stretching and relaxation
exercises.
SilverSneakers® Muscular Strength - Have fun and move
to the music through a variety of exercises designed to
increase muscular strength, rane of movement, and activity
for daily living skills. Hand-held weights,elastic tubing
with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance, and a
chair is used for seated and/or standing support.
Step’n Weights - Powerstep with intervals of weight
training, plus core work at the end of class. A great
overall total body workout!
S.W.E.A.T.- a blend of sports training with
cardiovascular intensity. An advanced workout in a station,
rotation format.
Total Body Sculpt - toning at its best, using
weights, the ball and callisthenic exercises for a heart
pumping weight training workout
Turbo-Kick - ultimate cardiovascular challenge
complete with a sport specific warm-up, bouts of intense
intervals, easy to follow combinations, kickboxing specific
strength/endurance training and a cool-down.
Yoga- a strengthening and invigorating workout with
individualized attention to form, one hour and 15 minutes
Zumba - The Zumba® program fuses hypnotic Latin
rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind
fitness program that will blow you away. Our goal is simple:
